Ingredients
1 cup blackcurrants, fresh or frozen
1 cup natural yoghurt
1/2 cup skim milk (or non-dairy equivalent)
Juice of two apples
Ice cubes (optional)
Method
Here's how you make your blackcurrant apple smoothie:
1. First combine the milk and yoghurt in your blender or smoothie maker
2. Next add the apple juice and pulse until well combined.
3. Finally add the blackcurrants and ice and blend briefly until well mixed.

Blackberry Nectarine Smoothie
Ingredients
1 cup blackberries, fresh or frozen
1/2 cup low-fat natural yoghurt
Juice of one apple (or ½ cup juice)
2 ripe nectarines, stoned
1 banana
3-4 cubes ice
Method
Here's how you make your blackberry nectarine smoothie:
1. Combine the yogurt and apple juice in a blender.
2. All all the remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth.
3. Strain through a fine-meshed sieve to remove the blackberry seeds, if desired.
